Snow covered cows

Did you know that a snow covered cow is actually a GOOD sign?

This means that the heat from the cow is not escaping to melt the snow!

The same concept applies to the insulation in a house. If snow is melting off the roof of a house that means there is poor insulation in the attic and heat is escaping through the roof to melt the snow.

So a snow covered cow means their thick fur is trapping their body heat and keeping them nice and cozy!
